Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a first touch point for all new RazorpayX clients coming through various inbound lead sources and qualify a certain volume of leads on a daily basis
  • Ensure reach out to 100% of assigned leads within TAT
  • Understand potential client’s requirement over a call/email, quickly identify pain points and use cases, evaluate intent and urgency, generate interest and propose a suitable solution
  • Search for additional customer information on client’s online presence
  • Move leads to the next stage based on the call outcome and/or set up product walkthroughs & demos
  • Acknowledge all emails from SME customers on time and respond suitably
  • Use sales tools effectively and update CRM properly on time
  • Work with other cross-functional teams as and when required.
  • Help us run experiments/campaigns and measure quality and potential of new lead sources/channels
  • Track if all qualified leads are handled/demos are given by the team as per SLA/TAT
  • In case of leads unavailability, help with outbound cold calls/campaigns planned by management
  • Maintaining a healthy sales conversion ratio.
  • Coordinate on merchant queries, clarification needs and support required for pre-sales activation and/or onboarding whenever required
  • Encompasses the dual responsibilities of effective team leadership and substantial individual contributions.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Inside sales experience in SaaS or equivalent B2B setup.
  • Should have basic understanding of sales tools and CRM.
  • Strong communication skills, oral & written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role. Should have worked on understanding customer requirements, identifying pain points and probing to understand how their business currently works
  • Experience in managing and leading a sales team is preferred.
  • Experience in the Fintech space/Payments industry would be an added advantage
