Key Objectives
- Responsible for delivering Key KPIs of maximizing Sales, Gross margin, range building and Brand focus for non- inline footwear category while catering to the requirements of all channels. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overall assortment planning for the category in sync with Key brand initiatives for the season, target customers for each format (product and pricing) and strategic objectives for the season/year. Maximizing Gross profit through right pricing strategy and cost optimization with local sourcing teams Range building from Global inline range and plugging gaps for India market from local sourcing
- Achieving topline and bottom line for the category as per Puma India short- and medium-term objectives
- Range Planning and assortment building – Global Inline and non-inline (India specific developments)
- Responsible for driving this business along with the Sales team with a view to achieve market leadership
- Analyzing gaps in the range from Global and fill them through developments locally for Indian market
- Right pricing strategy to maximize ASPs, margin and sell thrus
- Cost negotiations with sourcing teams to maximize input cogs and drive right pricing
- Managing end to end process of order placement, tracking and delivery monitoring to ensure timely launches in alignment with channel level launch targets
- Maximizing option and sales efficiency on non-inline (local) developments
- Closely coordinating with channel merchandising, sales, customers, and other internal departments to deliver on all objectives
- Coordinating with marketing, VM, training and other demand and awareness building teams to drive category focus
- Providing leadership, development, and guidance to the team to execute category goals
- Maintaining updated knowledge of key competitor products, distribution, and pricing strategies
- Actively tracking fashion and consumer trends to continuously look for opportunities to grow business and plug gaps
Eligibility Criteria and Functional Competencies:
- MBA/Degree in business studies. Related education in Fashion Management is an added advantage
- 2-4 years of Experience in working with a retail/fashion/branded environment Good knowledge of excel Sharp and Aggressive
- Strong Stakeholder management, influencing and communicating skills General knowledge of go-to-market processes Strong analytical skills
- Technical product knowledge Ability to convincingly present category knowledge using PowerPoint and spreadsheet software tools.
- Fluency in the English language (speaking, reading, writing) at business level Interested in working in a truly multicultural environment
