Wipro’s Pursuit Marketing CoE seeks a Senior Marketing Associate to be part of the growth engine, enabling business impact through strategic marketing. Pursuit marketing is a specialized and integral part of the marketing value chain, with other parts comprising of Brand, field/industry marketing, solution marketing, DG/LG, ABM, etc. The role will work closely with the global (USA, Europe, Asia Pacific) market units and other marking teams across multiple time zones and cultures.

This individual-contributor role will be responsible for owning select strategic pursuits for the entire pursuit life cycle on the select project. Day-to-day this could mean working on the CRM, planning, interfacing with the teams in the Pursuit Marketing CoE, strategic market units (e.g., industry marketing), Global Business Lines (e.g., solution/product marketing), and associated functions (e.g., Corporate Marketing, social media) for all pursuit marketing engagements assigned. The role provides a variety of learning opportunities through experience-based and formal projects.

This role will offer learning opportunities, particularly in strategy, digital and deal-based marketing, and can provide substantial progression in these career streams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Conduct research and analysis of areas related to the pursuit of marketing, such as new tools, processes, or solutions.
    • Support Pursuit Marketing projects by working with marketing leads on assigned projects.
    • This support will include
      • Reviewing and updating SFDC/CRM data along with Pursuit leads.
      • Creation and updating deal marketing briefs, plans, trackers, etc.
      • Working closely with the Pursuit Marketing CoE for bi-weekly status & periodic reporting.
      • Support Pursuit Marketing leads with the overall pursuit communication strategy, which includes identifying challenges, viewing the MI/BI kits, developing messaging and value propositions, and executing the marketing plan.
      • Support content gathering through internal sources and working with SMU/GBL marketing teams.
      • Coordinate with external vendors and in-house marketing teams to execute marketing activities seamlessly.
      • Building relationships with Pursuit Leads, and other critical interdependent groups.
      • Support with post-pursuit analysis and review and help with recommendations on tools and processes.

Experience and Expertise:

      • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing with 5+ years’ experience in business marketing. Experience in digital marketing will be an advantage.
      • Experience and expertise in different marketing execution and creative support will be preferred.
      • Understanding business dynamics which includes Brand, Martech, SMU, GBLs, Regions, Industries, etc
      • Strong written and communication skills
      • Create reusable collaterals (Case studies, videos, microsites etc.), Work with vendors / agencies for creative support needed & create strategic marketing plans.

Required Qualification, Experience and Expertise:

    • MBA in marketing with 8+ Years of relevant work experience as a marketing professional in B2B IT services, (preferably worked on large deals marketing or industry marketing).
    • Experience engaging directly with business stakeholders, taking ownership, and problem solving is necessary.
    • Good knowledge on IT deals, the life cycle, and understanding of technology.
    • Prior exposure to handling deals across sectors / industries will be an advantage.
    • Experience in managing various stages of campaigns & would have collaborated across multiple stakeholders for deal-based campaigns.
    • Possess Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal & written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently with ownership & accountability for results, and attention to detail.
    • Experience in multiple marketing channels, especially on digital channels
    • Deep understanding of integrated marketing strategies and tactics and how they come together to provide measurable results.
