Job Purpose:

What is the purpose of the job?

A Webshop Cross-Selling specialist is responsible for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to offer additional products or services to customers during their buying journey. Their role is to analyse customer preferences and behaviour to determine relevant cross and upselling opportunities. By understanding the customer’s needs and providing tailored recommendations, Webshop Cross-Selling specialist aim to enhance the customer experience and increase customer satisfaction. Ultimately, their purpose is to maximize revenue by encouraging customers to make additional purchases that complement their original buying decisions.

Principal Accountabilities Key Challenges Skills, Know How and experience

Responsibilities and Day-to-day work.

You are owner of the cross-selling features/tools we have on the

vidaXL webshops. Daily you are busy with “diving into the data” and

using this data to “create reports”, you are “investigating new

opportunities”, “Research the behaviour of visitors/customers” and

you “validate the new opportunities you come up with” to show if

it is worth it to invest in it. You are also the “cross-selling go-to

person” for all questions related to the cross-selling activities and

know all ins and outs of the data available.

Deliverables:

1. Increase in the main KPI Items per Order with 10% in 2024

Ø Come up with new initiatives to extend our cross selling

Ø Validate initiatives to show the potential of it

2. Clear reporting on the tools you work with and KPI’s you aim for

Ø Starting from zero -> There is a strategy for cross selling created and some activities were done, but no solid foundation of the activities yet Ø Data available -> is limited and needs to be extended Ø Technical depth -> The logics behind tools used in vidaXL can be a black box and need more investigation to understand how they work Skills/Personalities: · Structural · Creative · Analytically driven · Outspoken · Team player · Proactive Experience/Knowledge: · Marketing study · Knowledge of Cross Selling · Worked with data tools like Google Analytics · Experience in ecommerce (pré) · Knowledge of CRO (pré) Language: · English
