About the job

As External Communications & PR Manager in our team, you will be owning our external communications and public relations activities for Eleve Media. In this role, you will not only develop the underlying strategy but also operationally ensure and manage Eleve Media’s presence across externally oriented media and events.

As part of this role you will:

  • Develop Eleve Media’s communications strategy and overall Public Relations approach
  • Develop an external communication plan including key events and activities
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to create content for external communications
  • Obtain necessary inputs for external communication materials
  • Prepare the communication material including the format and any necessary content edits e.g., for articles, publications or podcasts
  • Distribute communication materials in the appropriate media (e.g. newsletters, brochures, etc)
  • Identify external stakeholders critical for Eleve Media’s communication strategy and lead the establishment and management of relationships
  • Work closely with the management team to find speaking or representation opportunities for the founding team
  • Plan external communication events by liaising with internal stakeholders and make all necessary arrangements, including relevant materials, logistics etc
  • Coordinate involvement of senior stakeholders at external communication events e.g., at award ceremonies
  • Provide input and leadership in external stakeholder outreach (preparation and attendance of events, etc)
  • Research and integrate industry news, trends and compelling angles into PR programs
  • Write, develop and manage approvals for news releases, media advisories, fact sheets and related media materials
  • Conceive and manage day-to-day communications strategies to ensure coverage across mediums.

You Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

  • 3+ years of experience with a role in Communications
  • PR & comms skills such as creating Press Release drafts, blog writing, ghostwriting, media presentations and related skillsets
  • Undergraduate degree in a Public Relations or Communications-related field
