Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Life Insurance Agent at LIC. The role is located in Kolkata metropolitan area and allows for some remote work. Life Insurance Agents will have the opportunity to engage with customers, assess their insurance needs, explain insurance products and services, and provide customers with policy quotes. They will also be responsible for maintaining records, following up with clients, and generating leads for new business.
Qualifications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
- Basic knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office and internet applications
- A minimum of 12th standard education, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in insurance sales is a plus
- Local language proficiency is preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Flexibility and willingness to work on a part-time schedule
