What is the Sales Manager – Institutional Sales in Marketing Administration group responsible for?

  • The role will carry of KRA to handle Institutional Clients & Institutional Channel Partners and will be responsible for driving & achieving the monthly corporate sales targets.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of Sales Manager- Institutional Sales?

  • The role will be based at Delhi location & will report to Head-Institutional Sales, India.
  • Responsible for driving & achieving the monthly corporate sales targets.
  • Market Mapping, Competition mapping in the geography assigned.
  • Cross sell new products and offerings, as per the launches from time to time.
  • Proactively identify sales prospects and do business development activities in the region.
  • Coordination with internal teams & various departments to accomplish the task assigned.
  • Make daily sales calls to develop business.
  • Monitor business growth regularly and maintain consistency in sourcing.
  • Identify and acquire new clients and strengthen relationships with tagged existing clients.
  • Efforts shall be to achieve assigned annual targets i.e. Gross, Net Sales, Asset growth, client activation / acquisition etc.
  • Monitoring of Sales Metrics and adhering to processes viz. MIS, CRM Platform – Talisma, Activities, Call Reports etc.
  • Work within the Compliance and Legal boundaries set by the regulatory bodies and internal framework.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

  • Post Graduate Academic Qualification in Management Field.
  • Approx. 8-12 years of sales, preferably in Asset Management Company (Institutional Sales) or BFSI – Corporate Sales.
  • High Knowledge and understanding of Financial Markets, especially fixed income.

Licenses And Certifications / Qualifications

 

  • AMFI/NISM certification (Advisors’ Module) mandatory
  • Any Financial Advisory Linked Qualification – CFP, CFA

  • Responsible for sales generation, which will ultimately generate revenue for the organization.

Shift Work timing – 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST
