About Sales Operations
The Sales Operations Organization is part of Commercial Organization in HP and leads the stimulating digital transformation with the expected outcome to become a more experience-driven organization. It is a strategic function that helps drive HP’s Digital Transformation.
The Sales Operations Organization builds relationship with HP Customers, Partners as well as dedicated HP sales teams, understanding operational business models, identifying challenges in the operational process, and finding solutions on how to improve HP interlock in the operational environment.
As part of the Sales Operations Organization, the Strategy and Planning and Automation Centre of Excellence (CoE) at HP Inc., drives standardized strategy, planning, and execution processes across Sales Operations. You will be part of a global team of highly engaged and capable colleagues supporting the organizational charter.
The Sales Operations Infrastructure Business Resource Planner will design and implement tools used to track organizational and investments operating expenditures; you will define, lead, and execute the implementation of these tools accurately and following the process definition to ensure spend and HC are managed within budgeted levels. You will be accountable for the good functionality of the tools you create and the modernization of them throughout the years. You will provide the proper technical infrastructure to the Business Resource Planning team who work side by side with the Strategy and Planning team, the Sales Operations executive leadership team, HR, and Finance to ensure an effective use and implementation of the tools and processes designed for these players to support the Budget Planning Cycle within Sales Operations.
To Reach The Above Objective You Should
- Define and Implement new BRP tools and processes with a high degree of automation.
- Keep monthly maintenance of the existing BRP tools aligning them to HP’s systems of records, Financial and Workforce ones.
- Create automated reporting packages to Leadership board around Budget Affordability using state of the art reporting tools.
- Assure Data Quality within the Business Resource Planning Tools
- Give feedback to design and implement Automation micro-Systems for the Business Resource Planning Tools.
- Support and co-own the creation and implementation of semi-automated Dashboards, Metrics (for example Workload Drivers, Affordability Metrics, Return of Investment analysis, etc.)
You Should Bring With You
- Advanced analytical thinking and Mastery of Excel (incl. Pivots, Formulas etc)
- Knowledgeable in concepts like Dashboard, Metrics, YoY, as %-age of, etc. as well as Power BI (tableau), RPA, VBA, etc.
- Ability to handle large amounts of data, do advanced data modelling and analytics.
- Proactiveness towards simplification and automation tools
- Bring and propose best practices to optimize the planning process and maximize results to reach organization targets.
- High level strategic thinking and growth mindset skills allowing to move between the eagle view and the detailed view.
- Leadership, MOC, and project management skills are an advantage.
- Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks seamlessly and with excellent attention to detail and quality of deliverables.
- High degree of flexibility and ability to work within a fluid, constantly changing environment.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment to determine appropriate action.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, passion, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities
- Oversees multiple end-to-end, complex operational processes.

Education And Experience Required
- First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
- Typically 10+ years of experience in a business related function, preferably finance, accounting, or compensation.
Knowledge And Skills
- Superior communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation). Mastery in English and local language as well as other languages as required.
- Mastery of knowledge and skills with business applications (e.g., Excel and Compass).
- Ability to lead multiple teams.
- Superior understanding of internal business processes and policies.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of accounting concepts.
